First established in 1992, the team at Objectif Sciences International is experienced in not only developing and managing quality science camps Science Camps Our science camps are vacation camps where your children will discover a scientific domain which speaks to them: astronomy, archaeology, marine ecology... At the same time the will be able to do various outdoor activities: archery, swimming, hiking.... but also in conceptualising and executing winning ideas.
Our experience allows us to guarantee exceptional quality in our camps.
Safety and Security: outline and procedures
Our internal policies guarantee one monitor for five children for all age groups (up to a maximum of 12, following common practices).
- We ensure maximum security for all activities that either we organize personally or through third-party collaboration.
We establish valid safety procedures, understood and known by all personnel on the team and available for all to see at the campsite.
In addition to informing the head offices of la Direction Départemental de la Jeunesse & des Sports in France (the Regional Department of Youths and Sports in France) and the l’Association des Camps du Québec (the Association of Certified Camps in Québec) in Canada or any other organizations that should be notified of our holiday camp trips, we also notify the local firefighters, social services, the local police, and even veterinary services so that each one of these services will be informed of our presence in the area and respond as quickly as possible, if needed.
We monitor all camp activities regularly and rigorously.
Contrary to the common practice of hiring camp monitors between the ages of 16 and 22, our science Science La science est désormais l’affaire de tous. Découvrez la science d’une manière ludique et active. Nous vous proposons d’en découvrir plus sur nos expéditions à la voile, découverte du plancton. education monitors are usually between the ages of 20 and 45. It is also mandatory for our younger monitors to be partnered with our older monitors. Many of these older monitors are themselves parents, which affect enormously their sense of responsibility.
4 Different Ways to Contact Us and Your Child
The webpage, for the camp of which your child will be subscribed to, will be updated regularly with new photos and commentary written by the participants. Who knows, maybe today will be your child’s turn to write the comment of the day?
There are telephone booths and computers in all of our holiday camp centers that your child can use to contact you during the free periods in between activities.
For each camp session you will receive the name and number of the camp director and you can call him or her to receive news of your child or to pass on a message etc.
If despite the ways listed above you still need more information or to contact a third person, you can contact the general director of the organization on his or her direct line and he or she will respond to you personally.
All contact information will be readily available to you on one sheet that will be given to you during the registration process.
An Authentic Vacation for Your Child
It might seem obvious but all our pedagogical plans (developed by our educators during each camp session) contain the objective: “Make sure the participants have a good time!”
This makes it clear that even though, at times, the subjects taught might be more serious and demand a higher level of concentration, the main goal is to always make sure that the participants are having fun.
This translates to numerous moments of pure joy that the participants will have such as memorable evenings spent together playing games or incredible scenic walks through nature and other moments that will be created along the way.
It is precisely this type of humor, their joyful spirit and amusing but smart challenges that they will launch at the children, that characterizes our team members.
One Unique Price, Regardless of the Chosen Activity
The costs of the camps are calculated independently of the theme. Therefore, you can choose the camp that suits your child without worrying about the financial criteria.
Our costs are generally maintained as low as possible.
For the exact same price, our camps are 2 to 3 times better equipped in material than other camps of the same type in France, thanks to the partnerships that we have established with the Ministry of Research.
High-Level Continuing Education for our Educators
Our educators follow professional development courses such as the Roles and Responsibilities of a Camp Monitor and our educators themselves are usually teachers, engineers, researchers, even directors of research or other professionals in the socio-cultural sector.
Before being able to work with us, all the members of our team have to pass two mandatory training sessions on topics such as “Science Science La science est désormais l’affaire de tous. Découvrez la science d’une manière ludique et active. Nous vous proposons d’en découvrir plus sur nos expéditions à la voile, découverte du plancton. Pedagogy according to Objectif Sciences International” and “Conducting and Managing a Research Project for Youths.”
For as long as they are with us we offer the educators solid, complementary technical or pedagogical courses. Each of these training sessions is conducted with universities, research centers or advanced technology businesses, and even with the Ministries of Youth, Sports, Education, Environment and Research.
Before the start of each camp session, our educational camp monitors meet to discuss and plan the activities. For each camp session, the monitors create and develop educational plans, a list of educational material, a list of research projects, and an itinerary of activities, which are all validated by researchers and engineers from the Ministry of Research.
Activities in Direct Connection with the Ministry of Research
We establish new partnerships regularly with the researchers and engineers of the country. This not only allows us to validate our content but also to share with them the discoveries made by the camp participants.
Laboratories and technology enterprises provide us with experts that drop-in to our camps and respond to any of your children’s questions. For the older age groups, these experts respond daily to the participants’ questions either through phone or e-mail.

We are the only camp in the world that provides this service.
Any material that is not transportable is directly accessible by your child with a visit to the laboratory or to the warehouse under the supervision of technicians who will welcome us during these unique outings.
Direct Access to Our Team
Each year in spring, we organize an enjoyable and friendly information session in all of our Scientific Holiday Centers allowing the maximum number of participants possible to take part. During the session you will be able to meet with our partners, our educators and also past participants and parents who enjoy this fun and friendly gathering.
Upon arriving at the campsite or at the place of departure for an accompanied trip to the campsite, you will be able to discuss with the monitors the planned activities, the learning aspects of the program, or the scientific research Scientific Research Participate in scientific research research programs. The Saturday preceding the end of the camp, the participants will organize an exposition or a conference on all the activities done throughout their stay. This is a special moment that will allow the parents who wish to come the day before to the Scientific Holiday Centers to talk with the educators.
At New Years Eve we organize an assessment meeting exactly the same way we run our information sessions: friendly and enjoyable. Parents that would like to participate in our pedagogical work usually participate in our New Year’s countdown with us. This is a chance to help improve the details of the programs in order to make the science holiday camps as enjoyable as possible.
Several events over the course of the year will allow you and your children to catch-up with past participants and discuss their camping experiences. These gatherings are often on weekends and will allow the children and teenagers to share souvenirs and photographs etc.
